It's always such a nice experience having the owners help find what I need and also recommend a few other things to help with ingredients. My parents have been frequent customers since we moved to Halifax over 20 years ago. I recommend it for hard to find items and just for supporting a local store that's been here for 40 years.
An interesting place to stop in, the stock can be hit or miss, and not everything is clearly labeled or priced, however the owners are keen to help and very friendly. The layout is a bit confusing, grouped both by item type and also by cuisine, so best just to ask or go aisle by aisle for as not to miss anything
Good place. A little pricey but it’s expected. They have a lot of selection and it’s a very nice store, i’d say i’d definitely be coming back but I did notice when i got home that my noodles were expired. There was no date on the outside of the bag only the inside so I didn’t notice until I opened it unfortunately. The couple who were at the store were very helpful and nice though ! Overall good place, just make sure to check dates on products that aren’t so popular haha!

So Glad i found Indonesian food here, the price is bit pricey as expected but I understand that os not easy to bring such rare asian ingredients into canada
A great family run place with such a wide variety! the store is filled with an incredible selection of died noodles, rice, frozen & refrigerated products, sauces, dry ingredients, and so much more. I spent a lot of time just looking at the shelves of rice noodles because of how many different options there are. The folks (i assume the owners) who work there are very kind.
Came in for ingredients for a Vietnamese recipe and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Good variety of products and well organized in a convenient location.
